Wednesday's Group

 I fell asleep. I apologized.

Jody's story

Listen to him and tell him where you felt his story.

Scott: What is the conflict?

Jody: The boy who was able to protect another little boy and now as an adult did not protect his own wife and child because of his acting out.

Scott: This entire story is a monument to your masculinity.

The word daddy was Josy's longing.

He backed that longing sexually.

When a survival need is not met and that deprivation is in your body it creates a dissociation that is paired with sex and a guy. Being sexual with another man is when those needs were met.

This is not a cognitive thing, it is a feeling.

I said, that the most tragic aspect of the story is the fact that he was trapped in that reality because as a child we can not choose. So that night of the shooting, was one night among many other in which all he could do was cope. He was a true hero. It reminded me of the hero's journey.
